Light and pleasant mouthfeel with tasty and refreshing mid palate and vibrant acidity. Mid bodied with juicy tannins that provide strength and long finish. Fruity and spicy aftertaste with earthy tones. A red that is true to its origin, excellent to pair with red grilled meats, offal, hard cheeses and cold cuts.
Their only organically certified wine is the 2018 Organic Vineyard Malbec, despite having all their 60+ hectares of productive vineyards in Valle de Uco certified organic and biodynamic by Demeter. This comes from that vineyard in Los Indios. It's an explosion of violets and thyme with round tannins and pungent flavors, really delicious. It's bottled unoaked after eight months in stainless steel with lees and untouched. 17,000 bottles produced.
A Malbec from Pampa El Cepillo, the brand new GI to the south of the Uco Valley, made with organically grown grapes. The wine is an expression of the terroir: bright purple in color, presenting a frisky, expressive nose that offers intense aromas with hints of herb, pine and thyme over a bed of sweet and sour cherry. Relaxed in the mouth with juicy tannins and a medium volume; the elegant freshness enriches the flavorsome finish. A modern style for Argentina, but in all a very seductive Malbec.
