Guimaro lost 90% of his fruit from hail storms in ’16. This is the first incarnation of this wine as there wasn’t enough fruit to comprise his single vineyard cuvees. Mostly Mencia, but also includes Merenzao (aka Trousseau), Brancellao, Alicante Bouschet and others. Perfumed nose, savory fruit and nice mid palate make this a great gateway to the region.
