Our Shipping Information

For all deliveries, shipping and pick-ups:

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from Wine Legend.com. All packages sent out by WineLegend.com REQUIRE a signature upon delivery. It is highly recommended that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service. Customer comments on their order such as "Please leave on back porch" or "Please leave at front door" will be ignored. Unfortunately we will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult (person over 21) to sign for the wine.

Shipping:

1. Where can you ship to?

We ship to most of the states but mentioned below are the states that we cannot ship to due to state laws.

Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, IL, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia.

2.  What  happens once I place my order?

* Reminder: Must be 21 yrs or older to purchase. Adult signature is required upon delivery. Please make sure you choose the shipping address where you are able to sign the package.

Typically orders placed will be processed within 24 hours based on the availability of the product. Please note  if we were to order a product for you of your preference, it might delay the process between 1 to 3 business days.

You will receive an email containing tracking information once your order is boxed and ready for shipment. Please note, these tracking numbers will not be active until they are scanned by the driver. (For example, if you have an order scheduled to ship on a Monday, we may box it on a Friday and send you the tracking info. However, the tracking info will not be valid until the driver picks it up on Monday.)

3. How do you ship?  How soon can I get my shipment?

We use two shipping carriers- Fedex and UPS. Once shipment leaves our store, estimated delivery takes about 1 to 3 business days to Tri-state area and 3 to 5 days to Midwest and 5 to 7 days to West coast. Please note that these are only estimated delivery times.

Once the fedex has your packaging we cannot guarantee the date of delivery unless customer opts for the expedited services from Fedex or UPS carriers. We do everything possible to protect the wine from temperature-related damage. If you are concerned about the weather you can choose a faster shipping method. Shipping costs will vary based upon your choice. You will find the options during the checkout.  

* During the holiday season the delivery time might be much longer.

4. What happens if no one is there to sign the package?

Fedex will try to attempt three times to deliver the package leaving the tags on the door. Must show valid Id to pick up the package from fedex location . If for any reason no one picks up the package from Fedex location, it will be sent back to us. Wine Legend® is not responsible for return packages. We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult (person over 21) to sign for the wine. We can reship  after the package comes back to us and the additional shipping charges will be your responsibility. If you choose not to reship the 10% restocking fee will be charged.

 

Refunds:

Refunds are issued in the same way you made the original price after inspecting the return package. Wine legend has right to refuse or charge the 10%of the restocking fee if the items returned in unaltered conditions. Please make sure the items are in new condition. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless there was a error on our side.

*we are not responsible for any damages occurred during the transit of the merchandise. If case of damaged or missing items please notify us within two days of receiving the package.

If the shipment doesn’t reach on time on express shipments, you are entitled to a refund on shipping charges, but no refunds/returns are accepted on products purchased. This applies only to express shipments and not to ground shipments. Wine Legend® is not responsible for return packages because of in correct or in complete address. In that case we will not be able to refund any shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee will be charged. No address changes can be made once the package leaves the store. If you choose, we can reship to the correct address after the package comes back to us and the additional shipping charges will be your responsibility. If you choose not to reship the 10% restocking fee will be charged.
 

Insurance:

Wine Legend® automatically adds insurance and the cost of insurance to each order. This insurance covers the dollar value of the product and not the product itself. Some product cannot be replaced. If you wish to waive the insurance, you may do so by un-checking the box during the checkout process, however, this waives all responsibility from WineLegend.com.

**Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Wine Legend® to the purchaser in the state of New Jersey at the time Wine Legend® removes the purchased items from stock and designates the order for shipping and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of the purchased item or items to his/her home whether in New Jersey or another state. The risk of loss for all purchased items also passes from Wine Legend® to the purchaser in the same manner and at the same time title passes to the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Wine Legend®, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

 

Pre Arrivals (Pre Sell)

Please note that the pre arrival (Pre sell) wines will not be shipped automatically as we get them in stock. We will send an email notification upon the arrival and the shipping date will be determined at that time. Also the expected arrival date on Pre arrivals (Pre sell) is our best estimate and is not a guaranteed date.
