Villadoria Barolo (Piemonte, Italy) 2007
92 Rating From Wine Spectator
Incredible Bargain - Only $22.99!
*Free Shipping With A 6 Bottle Purchase

Here's a spectacular Barolo bargain, a legitimate 92 pointer (Wine Spectator) selling for only $22.99. That's right, $22.99 plus free shipping with a 6 bottle purchase!

Villadoria isn't as famous as Gaja or Giacosa, but they have long and solid experience in the winemaking. The quality has steadily improved in recent years. The grapes for this Barolo come from mid-altitude hills in Serralunga d'Alba and the vineyards are owned by Villadoria's Lanzavecchia family. They age their wines in Slavonian oak barrels and in French "barriques." A strict quality control in all phases of production is standard at Villadoria who has a long tradition and constant technological improvement to ensure the top quality of these "vins nobles."

A Barolo of this quality is not supposed to sell for $22.99, especially when it comes from an excellent vintage like 2007. Please also note that we have a limited number of cases, so if you plan on ordering, do so quickly.
Villadoria Barolo 2007
"Fresh and plump with juicy flavors of cherry, raspberry, licorice, menthol, and oak spice. The oak doesn't intrude and this ends with an aftertaste of black cherry, tar, and menthol notes. Best from 2014-2027."
