|
Glaymond is the winery name of rising star Damien Tscharke whose family owns vineyards located in some of the most prime real estate of Barossa Valley. Chris Ringland is the winemaking consultant. Those who love no-holds-barred, big Barossa behemoths should check out Glaymond. Since the 2001 vintage, the first to arrive in the American market, Glaymond wines have consistently received impressive scores from The Wine Advocate. Recently, Glaymond had a dispute with their longtime American importer and essentially got a divorce. Now the importer wants the clear the warehouse of any reminder of their relationship. The result? HUGE price reduction! That’s how we can sell these $60 beauties (nothing wrong with the wines; they’re legitimate 92 pointers) for only $22.99! And free shipping on a 6 bottle purchase! Take advantage of Wine Legend’s “Legendary Pricing.” It’s not every day you have an opportunity to buy a really good 92 point $60 wine for only $23. |

“The 2006 The Distance Shiraz was sourced from a 47-year-old estate vineyard. A glass-staining opaque purple color, the nose emits scents of toasty oak, pencil lead, scorched earth, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. On the palate this full-bodied wine is layered, dense, and structured, with enough stuffing to develop for another 4-6 years. It should be at its best from 2013 to 2030.”Wine Advocate 92 Points |
