THE STORY
“Tenuta San Filippo belongs to the FANTI family since the early nineteenth century. It covers about 300 hectares, of which 52 are specialized vineyards, 110 olive trees, with over 8,500 olive trees, 80 hectares of arable land and 70 woodland.
The soil is rich in layered skeleton with formation of "marl"
The climate is highly unusual and favorable bodied wines of elegance and at the same time, the strong sunshine during the day due to the conformation of the hills where the vineyards are located, and a good thermal shock in the night to fresh winds from the near Monte Amiata.”
