THE STORY
“Bodegas Renacer is located in northern Mendoza in Perdriel—a sub-region of Luján de Cuyo with an extremely high reputation for producing excellent Malbecs due to its particular microclimate and lime-rich soils. The winery structure itself is quite impressive, featuring a medieval tower built of rocks with state of the art technical equipment.
Key wines Punto Final Clásico and Reserva are modern, fruity, elegant wines with a distinctive personality. These labels show a unique style focused in the typical aromas of Argentina’s emblematic variety. The philosophy is to attain the highest quality within the highest international standards—a goal achieved through their scrupulous care of the vineyards and devotion to wine and the winemaking process.”

Renacer Enamore 2007

The 2007 Enamore is a blend of 60% Malbec, 23% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Syrah, Bonarda, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It was sourced from own-rooted vines over 50 years of age and aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak. A glass-staining opaque purple, it offers up a fragrant perfume of cedar, spice box, lavender, damp earth, and black cherry. Opulent on the palate, it is dense and sweetly-fruited with complex black fruit flavors, plenty of spice, ripe tannin, and a lengthy finish. Cellar it for 2-3 years and drink it from 2011 to 2019.
