Wine Legend has a long list of excellent Kosher wines from Isreal. Carmel, Barken, Dalton, Yarden, Galil and Gamla.
All of Carmel's products are Kosher Lemehadrin for Passover and the whole year round. Furthermore, all the wines have been pasteurised and are considered to be Yayin Mevushal.
Barkan wines are a Middle Eastern delight. A long time favorite of international travelers, these wines have been more widely produced and distributed so that you don't have to travel across the world in order to enjoy these wines. Barkan wines have received accolades from the most esteemed wine competitions in the world, such as the Barkan Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which won a gold medal at the Vinexpo exhibition held in Bordeaux, France.
Yarden Wines are produced by the Golan Heights Winery. This winery was founded in 1983 and is located in the small town of Katzrin, high up on the Golan Heights. By combining state-of-the-art technology with traditional vinification techniques, the company has succeeded in producing award-winning wines, firmly placing Israel on the international wine map.
The Galil Mountain Winery is a joint venture of the Golan Heights Winery and Kibbutz Yiron combining the unique features of the Upper Galilee with the expertise of the winemakers of the Golan Heights.
Gamla wines are premium, quality aged varietal wines which are fruit forward and expressive. They are produced with the same care and attention to quality as Yarden wines. "Gamla" is the name of an ancient Israeli town on the Golan, which withstood the conquering Romans for a number of years. Recent excavations represented by the coin on the label, tell an exciting and heroic story.
